Guru clef is the name of the Magician that helps the Magic Knights along their journey. He (yes, it IS a HE!!!) is fairly short, and his appearance resembles that of a young boy, however Clef is actually 745 years old! He is grumpy at times, however, he gives the Magic Knights their magic. Fuu ends up with the element wind, Hikaru with fire, and Umi with water. He has white hair, and a rather large head dress, which is a gem that on his head.

Clef also carries around with him a very large staff that has magical powers. Clef is one of the most powerful magicians in Cephiro, and he actually _taught_ the High Priest, and now evil (Zagato), magic! His element is unknown,(or at least I'm not sure what it is...) but his two spells he uses are ones to summon animals (in order to use them for transportation purposes), or to create a force shield that blocks the opponent's attack.

Drool: I think he's so cute!!! I especially love the armor he has in the last few pages of manga in the second series! Awwww so cool! But, I don't really like the armor he has in RAYEARTH, oh well!

He also loves silence, so when he meets Umi he is very, er... shall we say, agitated by her at first. *L* This is also my favourite scene from the first series, and yeah, I also love his voice...ehehe... ;P
