She is the princess of Cephiro, and through the power of her constant prayers, she keeps Cephiro 'alive'. Princess Emeraude is the one who keeps the world together, and she is able to do this because she has a tremendous amount of power.

Cephiro is a world which is ruled by the strength of your heart, for example, the greater your determination, the stronger your magic is, or the stronger you are. She is like the leader of Cephiro and everyone (I think) in Cephiro loves her.

If the princess were to ever stop praying for her world, it would soon collapse and it would become a real nightmare, rather than the 'wonderland' it is when she prays.

Princess Emeraude also knows Guru Clef, and she, like almost everyone else who is in Cephiro, knows about the Legendary Magic Knights, (Fuu Hououji, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Hikaru Shidou.)

Not a lot is known about Priest Zagato, except for the fact that he knew Princess Emeraude for a while, but I don't remember what he was doing in the castle. Sorry! Anyways, he _is_ rather powerful, I mean heck, he took the princess 'hostage' right? You've got to have some kind of power to be able to do that!

He has many 'minions' and the order in which they appear are: Alicione, a powerful (slightly annoying in the anime) 'middle-aged woman' *L*, then Ascot, a cute little, mislead kid, (with green eyes!!)

*ACHEM!* Then, Calidina, who is kind of like Ascot's 'mother', but I'm pretty sure they aren't related. And unfortunately the last 'follower' is Rafalga/Lafarga.

Pretty much everyone is afraid of Zagato, except for the few brave people who have tried to go up against them but have failed, because as the legend says, only the Legendary Magic Knights can save the Princess...
